We’re experiencing a form of discrimination at this particular Walmart. As you can see, they’re just hatching and making superficial repairs to the parking lot instead of going ahead as they do in other neighborhoods fixing the entire parking lot so that it can be presentable to the customers. Shame on you Walmart!By Chef Daniel Chapel (9 months ago)The lady working in the pharmacy on 11/2/22 was so nice, patient and friendly. We just moved here and had to transfer a prescription & deal with new insurance. She got everything sorted for us and made the experience much easier.By Steve Nasdeo (2 months ago)I live just a few miles from this store and avoid it at all costs. If there’s not a line all the way to the back of the store, they won’t have what you need. Today I needed cat food but couldn’t access it because they have 2 huge, tall pallets sitting right next to each other blocking literally every bag of cat food. I even tried to squeeze in and couldn’t get to it. And you’re not gonna get any help from anyone. Usually I drive an extra 10 min to the Vestavia store but I just didn’t have time today. But I knew better! Been this way for at least 3 years.By Elizabeth Chandler (a month ago)Idk how I feel about this location. I’ve came here for years on my way home and this was one of the first times I felt a uncomfortable. Had a bunch of people lottering who were nodding off, messing with the propane station, etc. Sadly, I am prolly won’t comeback unless its daylight. As far as the store, I normally do curbside and never had an issue till today. They had a bunch of employees calling in. So I canceled my order and grabbed a few of my need items. **** TIP*** if ur ordering curbside, reserve your time earlier in the day. Inside has more self checkout registers than registers that a cashier can be at. I personally like self checkout but I know some don’t like it. I know Lakeshore has security that patrols, might be time for this location to have security.By Ms Q (2 months ago)Very busy when I went, but it was well managed and everything went smoothly. The smell inside was a bit rough, though.By Turner Shaw (2 months ago)

Update: still LOVE TJ’s, this last trip I stocked up on some seasonal items that my family loves. The ube tea cookies and vegan marshmallows are always missed when they’re out of season. I also misspoke, they do have a cart return in the back part of the parking lot! For people who parked the furthest from the store.
I LOVE Trader Joe’s! Even though I live in Montgomery, I make a trek to TJ’s once every two months to stock up on items I love. It’s a fun excursion because it’s located in the summit. The staff has a very good reputation for being helpful and friendly. It’s good to bring your own bags, there is a minimal fee for the paper bags. Parking is convenient, but they do not have cart returns. So you either have to walk your cart back to the store or a TJ’s employee might already be outside to collect it.
My favorite items to get are frozen foods, spices, and bakery items.By Iman SB (3 months ago)Feeling a little hipster and you want but groceries? Trader Joe’s is just for you! Amazing, creative foods with an international flare and sometimes amazing deals. Unfortunately, they’ve gone more in the way of Whole Foods when it comes to the price tags. For example, they had things like $5 wine picks; high end overstock bottles were completely relabeled, so you’ll never quite know what you’re getting beyond the grape but hey, 5 bucks! Anyhow, good luck finding anything below 5 bucks. If that and the smell of patchouli won’t scare you away, head on in!By Anne Bet (a year ago)I finally got the opportunity to go inside a Trader Joe’s in Huntsville, AL and it did not disappoint. The store is very clean, well organized, and the staff is friendly. The sour cream pound donuts are so delicious 😋 and the variety of fruit and veggies is endless. I even bought Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and it is my new found friend for my taste buds. Come and check out this awesome store with healthy varieties in the Rocket city!By Genesis Brooks Viverette (6 months ago)Amazing Store! Amazing Employees! Amazing Products! This was my first time experiencing TJ’s, I was not disappointed!! The store was so well organized and extremely clean..the floral area was filled with beautiful flowers..the prices surprised me, everything was so affordable which was great, I bought more than expected…At checkout we mentioned this was our first time, they rang a bell and shouted “first timers” everyone in the store cheered! They gave us free TJ’s shopping bags. We live 90miles away but we are planning another trip in a few weeks!!..everything we purchased was amazing! Thank you Trader Joe’s for such a wonderful experience!By gina politi (a month ago)Always fantastic, unique stuff only available at Trader Joe’s. My daughter and her friends desperately want a store near Tuscaloosa because that’s where she goes to college. Check out their Chocolate truffles with dark chocolate in the center bars. Mmm mm….By Roopa Kurse (5 months ago)

Mostly self checkout, which I like. Needs cleaned up around front of building. Still faster than a superstore!By Pam Parsons (Spyder) (2 weeks ago)The Pick up area used to be to the right, then they moved it to the middle and both areas were clearly marked. It’s moved to the left now, with no new signage and also no removal of the old signage. I waited half an hour in the marked location. Towards the end I got a phone call from an unknown number that went straight to voicemail but did not leave a voicemail, which would have been helpful. Eventually a very nice young woman walked over to find me. Very frustrating. Updated signage or an alert in the app that the pickup area moved (or both!) would be the minimum expectationBy Deborah Lawrence-Jones (4 months ago)The new pickup parking is awful. So bad and dangerous someone should honestly be demoted for that decision. They hardly ever have things stocked and their card readers only work about half the time. I’m normally not so picky, but Walmart brings in WAY too much money to have such ridiculous issues.By Sierra Pate (4 months ago)Wonderful shopping place. I prefer it for my major monthly groceries. I try others if I just need stuffs urgentlyBy Daniel Olutola (4 months ago)This time of year expect long lines. Found everything I needed on a Saturday evening. If you like crowds then you should do good.By Pearl Cockrell (a month ago)
