This is a supermarket that has been here for a long time (as long as I can remember) I used to do Refrigeration work here years ago back in the 1980’s and 90’s. The refrigeration used to be in an underground concrete bunker with individual water cooled units, a single pump and a cooling tower. There was and old tandem R-12 system that ran the meat department and had a water cooled condenser. Interesting history of this old market only old timer refrigeration guys would know. I did refrigeration service work here for ten years when I worked for Total Refrigeration systems. This used to be an old Red owl Store before Kowalski took it over and it has gone through many refrigeration store upgrades and also store remodels. Kowalski markets always does an outstanding job with customer service and high quality merchandise. I wish that I had some photos of that old compressor room from 35 years ago (it’s long gone now) Just finished eating lunch here and the store brought back some old nostalgic memories when I worked with Dana and Rick.

Our first trip to Kowalski’s felt like a field trip. It was an experience more than a shopping trip. Tons of products you don’t see in other stores. But still a good selection even though the place is a bit small. Well the prices can be a bit high, I believe they are worth it. They’re hot food counter is particularly good. We’ve gone back multiple times now to get chicken cod and other items. Definitely worth a trip. You will not regret it.

Came here for some fish. Ended up with a few more things than I had planned because they have such a great selection 😊

Kowalski’s is a very good, upscale grocery store. They have top shelf wine, liquor, and beers. The cheese, fresh meat, fresh vegetables, and deli offerings are excellent. However, you pay a significant premium for everything at Kowalski’s, even run of the mill brand name boxed, frozen, or packaged meals.

This location has great parking. Weekends are very busy, but the parking spots turn over quickly.

Great grocery store with an excellent gourmet selection of cheeses and fresh breads. Pastry options are good and extensive deli offerings. The new self-checkout app is great during busy periods where register lines are long. Definitely a neighborhood asset.

Whole Foods NEVER fail, I feel like it’s a very true statement. I don’t have one local to me…..so sad. But love you visit them when near by. This one is wonderful. I wish my son would have been with, the Macaroon case of cookies would have thrilled him. Great selection, superior quality foods- you’re not afraid to feed your family. Many organic options, which for fresh fruits/veg to me is only option.
I had assistance in the bakery for items from the case, worker was helpful. It was Halloween and he was talking to a family, little boy was dressed up. He asked the worker “where is your costume?”, Whole Foods member smiled a half smile and said we can’t wear costumes. The cute little boy said…”That’s what’s wrong with the messed up adult world”. It made me initially laugh…..but he is right. Why the heck can’t the workers wear a costume and have a little fun? We had eaten at a restaurant tonight earlier, everyone was dressed but one person. Seriously sad Whole Foods won’t let there staff dress up. Don’t forget how to have fun, especially for your employees and guests.

This location has everything you need. I was shocked by the space every area has, like the seafood section. I found different options of common items. Clothes and supplements are another surprise to me. You can deep dive in both areas. This location has history of how the store came to be. I’ll be returning.

Nice grocery market. Our 1st time come here it’s big market and also have food ready to eat. So can get the food and seat at seating area. Have restrooms too. It’s nice and clean.

Excellent consistent salad bar at two of their locations I’ve been to in the metro. Store is stocked really well with lots of healthy novelty items to try out. I live right next door to a smaller co-op (Mississippi Market), so yes the price is expensive, but the quality and flavor is far superior to conventional Franken foods.

Not happy that they seem to be going cashless- only one register open that takes cash, all self checkout is card only. I will stop shopping here if they go cashless. Please accept cash at all registers. They’re also out of a lot of stuff if you shop in the evening. Store needs to be better stocked in the evening, they’re always out of basic items.

Huge selection of vegetables and meats. Clean and organized 👌 Great home decor pots and pans. This store doesn’t have the deli selection food area.

Just wow. I am impressed at this place! They have so much to offer in regards to food stuff and cooking/ eating as well as decorative items and more.

I love the variety of produce, and the price is amazing. Even having items that aren’t native to the state like purple sweet potatoes or sugar cane stalks.

Hell even full Durian fruits can be purchased.

Lots to buy and lots to enjoy. I’ll be sure to make this a regular stop for groceries going forward.

I love this store! We make all kinds of international dishes at home because of dietary restrictions and you can get whatever you need at this store. Huge selection of Asian, Middle Eastern, African foods and sundries at good prices. The place is clean and well stocked! I drive over an hour to shop here!

Amazing place to get ethnic food. They have food from most African country like pounded cassava from Cameroon, palm oil from Nigeria or Ghana and many more. You can buy fish, spices, plantains and Everything is affordable. Gave a 4 stars because sometimes the store is not very clean

Great selection of fresh fruits and veggies. They have a good selection of frozen foods like Kimbo brand dumplings, sticky rice dumplings. Etc. Sometimes they are sold out of it though. The frozen section could be more organized.
