First, this place smells of urine and
feces which starts to get worse the closer you get to the restrooms which is a biohazard with low lighting, rot, and feces/possibly blood on the walls(See Pics). The prices are too expensive for a thrift store. The prices are more on par with a normal retail store selling new goods. Nothing here electronically is tested and if it doesn’t work you can not return it so make sure you test items…that is if you can find a wall outlet that works at all in the store. There are no dressing rooms, so no trying things on. Also, if you are looking to find a real treasure you won’t find it here because now most all items that would have any value are sold on their online store so look elsewhere. Poor management is the only thing I can think of for a place to be this horrific. The OSHA should look into this place for health and safety violations. You will feel like you will need a shower once you walk out.By The Amazon (5 months ago)I really love this thrift store. They are a tad saks fifth avenue-ish on their prices for a thrift store. Look online for a coupon always. I find the best furniture and a lot of new stuff. I found this little treasure today! Total steal though!By Jenny Hope Marlow (a month ago)This place was good at one time. Now they break items down into multiple pieces and charge for the separate pieces. The prices have increased to the point of being retail. Do they even support a good cause?By Jeff Vogel (6 months ago)Horrible management, not how you run a business. Wanted a piece of small furniture that didn’t have a tag. This happens at thrift stores all the time, and usually they price match to something similar (ex. Goodwill). The clueless teenager here told me I had to wait 2 days to purchase this furniture in case someone was holding on to the lost tag. Firstly, normal retailers don’t hold furniture for customers longer than a day. Secondly, no one is going to be suddenly redeeming a price tag after 2 days. Thirdly, I will not be coming back to this location, and they lost a sale over a missing tag.By Hannah Parker (2 months ago)First… They FINALLY Remodeled the restrooms. The problem now is one is never stocked, doesn’t even have a place for havd soap and the other has automatic lighting that shuts off and leaves you in the dark after 30 seconds (yes, I timed it).
Other than their prices getting closer and closer to retail, they do not help load large purchases anymore in I was informed of this AFTER I made a purchase. Supposedly it’s because someone’s car got dinged. BUT, they’ll happily unload your large items that you are donating to them for them to profit off of even if there’s a possibility of dinging a vehicle…Now with all that said, most of the staff is very friendly.

I’ve shopped this store for years now but over the last year their prices are that of a retail store and not a thrift store. Especially on the furniture. I understand a seller wanting to get top dollar for an item but when you’re a business who’s profits support women in need it’s important to move inventory quickly and I’m starting to notice how long their stuff sits compared to years back. They need to understand that people can pay retail anywhere they go so they are losing what’s special about them. The most beat up, hardware missing pieces will be priced at retail or higher, the demographic that shops there can’t afford it and can’t fix it either. Your price it low so they have a reason to purchase. This isn’t a reflection on the staff bc they work hard and are friendly but please stop pricing stuff based off unsold items on the Internet.By Bill Montgomery (a month ago)Friendly staff and fairly clean store. Pricing is hit or miss. Clothing is very reasonable. Higher end items are market value. I would recommend to frequent thrifters.By Zach Crawford (3 months ago)Update: Lovelady is so close to losing my business. Their pricing has become outrageous and especially for a thrift store. I understand it is for a cause and I’m all about supporting them, but they are hurting themselves more than helping themselves. I found a dress here today $13 new from Ross that Lovelady priced at $25! They also have hundreds of vinyl records that they’re trying to sell for $1.98/record, which is higher than any thrift store around. I spoke with the manager Jackie about purchasing 25+ records and she said “they are $1.98/record unless I bought 100+ of them.
One of my favorite thrift stores in Birmingham, and for a good cause! They always have great holiday decorations and they have a huge selection of shoes, which is good for a girl with big feet like me! Cute size 10 shoes have to be hunted for! The furniture and electronic section can have some solid finds as well.
By Sara Bauer (2 months ago)I love this store! I try visit on a weekly basis. Are some things over priced? Yes. However, for the most part you can get high quality items for good prices! This store is the kind that takes time and patience to go through. If you are willing and able to do so you will find some amazing things! I love the staff too. All the ladies are very sweet and helpful. They are the main reason I shop here and support these wonderful women!!💕🛍By Amanda Skelton (9 months ago)Awesome thrift store! Huge selection at decent prices!! Never know what you may find 😊By Quinn Quinn (9 months ago)

I would consider myself an avid thrifter, and this place has some great finds. However, this place also has *the* most outrageous prices I have quite literally ever seen in a “thrift” store. I think I made an audible gasp when I saw a denim jacket was $75, and even had “vintage” written on the tag. And vintage it was, but please do not call yourself a thrift store if you are going to have prices of that as a curated vintage boutique.
Ps – I also saw a dickies shirt that you can get at Walmart brand new for $5, priced at $10. Lmao
By Elizabeth E (a month ago)Everyone who know me know I am a thrifter. And I love high end name brands. But one thing I am not is a fool. I went to the one in centerpoint and they had a fake Burberry coat for 100.00. And this one had two fake Louis Vuttion purses. One for 149.00 and another one for 199.00. Even pointed it out to the manager they were fake because they had no serial numbers. And the patterns did not match up like they are suppose to. Offered me a 30% discount. Dude I can drive to Atlanta and get one from the flea market with a wallet for 50.00By freda strong (2 months ago)Way too high. This place used to be a thrift store now it’s a place that sells damaged furniture at new retail prices. They have taken away the very essence of a thrift store. Please stop basing your prices of unsold Internet items and get back to your roots, this will help push this stuff out the door to raise money for these women in need.By Bill Montgomery (a month ago)Found several things that I was looking for! The ladies were very helpful! I usually wear all black clothes! I found a bright yellow suit that I love! Thank you! The store was very clean as well!By Tammy Brown (2 months ago)Wonderful selection! Decent prices! Offers 30% and 50% off specific colored tags, posted on hanging sign. Cashier was very friendly and helpful!By Rebecca Garrett (5 months ago)
