I always enjoy my shopping at Sun Fresh. The selection (produce, meats and seafood) are usually above average and the bakery products are good and prices are within norms. The store is clean and the staff is courteous and helpful. I am not from KC but I usually shop here when I am in town.

Def the best grocery store to go to for a full US experience. They have ambulances on site, trash everywhere, fights on the premises, even people outside asking for you to buy their alcohol! I would absolutely visit again just to encounter the full US life experience. Would rate 10/10 on aesthetics

DO NOT GO HERE ALONE IF YOU ARE A FEMALE!!!! Every. Single. Time. I’ve been here, there were sketchy men roaming the store/parking lot asking women for their names and if they lived around here, they’ll ask you questions about what you’re wearing and are usually grouped up in 2’s… sometimes with other women. These are typical behavior of human traffickers. Nothing wrong with this location or the groceries except NO SECURITY??? There should be at least 2 guards in the parking lot and 4 stationed in the store but not one. If you go here and are a female bring your own means of protection and a trusted friend. This is no joke. Be Safe!!!

Absolutely amazing place to buy groceries.
This supermarket has one of the best and healthiest products in the Kansas City Metro and the prices are fair. Highly recommended.

Wow this market is awesome! What a great selection of gourmet grocery items! They also have a really nice fish, meat and produce departments! I picked up some pork bones for my Italian red sauce. They have beef bones for beef stock and fresh turmeric for smoothies and tea!

Huge selection of asian items, but missing a bakery to be a true Asian market. Fresh produce and fish is available here and the store seems much smaller on the inside. I was really hoping for a good bakery to try some goodies from my childhood.

This Asian grocery store has lots of ingredients and fresh vegetables and meat( including seafood). It’s located at a strategic area close to T-Mobile Campus in Overland Park. I enjoy shopping there every time.

Love the HUGE selection of items. They have a big selection of spices & bubble teas, which are my favorites. I also love all the different types of mushrooms & fruits you can’t find anywhere else. They offer a lot of fish & seafood, which is the reason it smells in the store but the smell isn’t as bad as other stores I’ve been in. It’s pretty clean & organized. Prices vary. I just love it because you can get amazing things locally.

This Asian grocery store is huge! They have everything from fresh bakery, fresh Chinese food, fresh produce, seafood, dry food, various spice, frozen dim sum to cooking ware!!

It will help if you have a list of things that you want to buy and from what country. This is the best place in town to get various frozen dim sum and frozen food for hot pot!

This is one of our favorite places to visit, browse, shop, and eat! The store is HUGE and just a lot of fun. We love the Asian brands and cookware, the interesting produce, frozen foods, SNACK ITEMS, 😘 beverages, fun finds at Christmastime, and THE CAFE. The food they prepare is EXCELLENT! It’s always fun to leave with a Boba tea, too. Staff is always courteous and pleasant.

I was charged 3 items (receipt labeled as “on sale”) which totalled 11 dollars. When I called to ask about the items, they said I had to bring all the items back with my receipt for them to identify the “on sale” items. I live 45 minutes away from this market so there was no way I would waste another 2 hours of my day to dispute them, and ate the loss. Never have I been cheated by any other Asian international markets within KC. I WONT GO BACK. Buyers beware, check your purchase before you leave the store. I’ll give them 2 stars solely for the fact that they had a lot more variety than other international stores.

Restaraunt is one of the best in kansas city. Store has a huge variety of unique products you cant find anywhere else. Life fish, seafood and huge variety of spices, sauces, snacks and ramen My wife said that the womens restroom was horrible. Toilet bowls filled and covered in human waste, handwashing sinks inoperable, she’s been to cleaner outhouses at music festivals. Mens restroom was fine.
