The meat and chicken quality is good and fresh, also it is not overpriced.

They have small rice collection, and the yogurt are the falvored ones hopefully they will get some regular Greek options.

Pretty much clean, organized, employees are helpful and knowledgeable.

Will visit again 🙂

I’m here from out of town and this was the closest supermarket to our hotel. Definitely one of the best I’ve been to (second to Wegmans). Very organized, good prices, and nice cashiers.

Great stop for everything from snacks to a full family shop. Also has a food bar with lots of really nice home style cooked food. Friendly staff with very easy parking. Prices are good too with a premium Mom & Pop store feel, replete with old store B/W photos. Safe family friendly place with wheelchair access. What’s not to like?

This is my favorite grocery store and my favorite Hornbacher’s. Always well stocked. Always good deals and they seem to have an interesting, small discount area each time I visit. Not one of their newest stores that are extremely impressive and humongous. Again, this one is my favorite, not overwhelming, it’s conveniently located and suits my needs perfectly.

First time in this 13th Ave store. Beautiful store. Deli was fantastic!! Bakery was great. Everything looked 100%. Definitely will return. Deli manager was really appreciated that his help I said do a fantastic job. Kudos Deli Dept

I visit this store 1-2 times a week. They have a new reward program which is pretty unique and convenient (phone app). The service is always kind and efficient. The store is always clean.

The standard for what a grocery store should be. I kinda wish they had self-checkouts, but everything from the produce to the meat department is excellent. The deli is full of awesome stuff too!

After shopping and checking out, then I went to purchase stamps. The staff, at the courtesy counter, took people out of order and people with huge amounts of items in their carts.
The gentleman, James, was the only efficient and polite staff member I encountered this evening. He bagged my items and assisted with loading. He is an exemplary employee and person!

Dan’s used to be the ‘friendly’ store in town. Employees used to say ‘hi’, but now walk right past you like you don’t exist. I shopped at and supported Dan’s for over 20 years, but now I only go there when I need something another store doesn’t carry.

Business owner snow removal responsibility;

10-03-04. Removal of Snow and Ice.
1. The owner of any lot or parcel of land abutting any sidewalk shall:
a. Keep the sidewalk clean and unobstructed at all times.
b. Remove snow and ice within 24 hours after the snow falls or ice forms, and keep the sidewalk free of ice and snow. Sand may be used to make the area safe for pedestrian travel if removal of ice is impracticable.
2. Should snow and ice not be removed in the manner required, it shall be removed under direction of the director of public works or city engineer, and costs assessed to the abutting property pursuant to Chapter 40-29, N.D.C.C.
3. A person may not move, dump or deposit by any means any snow or ice accumulated on private property onto any public street, alley, or public right-of-way.
This subsection does not prohibit the dumping or deposit of snow or ice accumulated on public sidewalks adjacent to streets and alleys designated and posted as “street cleaning” areas onto streets or alleys so designated.

Where is truth in advertising? Where is standing behind your brand? Where is honesty? Certainly not with Dan’s Supermarket. Pepsi products are on ad from 8/3-8/9 at a rate of 4/$12. Digital ad ON THEIR WEBSITE updated daily and in thousands of print ads distributed IN STORE daily, as well as throughout the community. I purchase the required 4 items and it rings out at $13. Yes, it is only $1. But, how many thousands of customers are being fleeced by this misrepresentation? If I hadn’t pulled a calculator to decipher their irregular math discounts, I would have never caught the error.

I address the concern with Night Manager Tim and am informed that “there was an error in printing in the ad and there is a huge display explaining the mistake.” We walk to the display to see no signage, no advertised pricing, and he burrows through cases to find one small print sign encased in plastic to proudly hold it up and exclaim “see?” Yes Tim, I see. Hopefully all followers read this and will also “see” that they need to carefully inspect your receipts for inaccuracies in pricing. Perhaps we should also “see” about having Dan’s replaced with an ethical grocer.

Worst shopping experiences of my life. Whoever is in charge of the layout of the store, item placement ect. should be fired and charged with a crime. Also, the prices of your items should ALSO be a crime in itself.
