  They also have a nice selection of box lunches which came in handy when we stopped by for some goodies for our day at the beach. I highly recommend the carnitas wrap box 😊

  Best grocery store in Condado! Active watch guard for the spacious parking lot. There is a wine/liquor store on the second floor that is kind of hard to find but contains a wide variety of great wines.

  A very nice supermercado. Been in San Juan a month now, finally got bananas today(hurricane Maria’s fault) Clean, with friendly helpful staff. The cafeteria was very busy, so the food and cost must be the draw

  This is a full service supermarket, located near the Ashford Ave strip, so it’s also convenient. Has plenty of parking. There’s a hot food bar for breakfast and lunch; great bakery section; liquor section; a coffee station that serves coffee, cappuccino, expresso; a lottery machine and the rest of the items a large supermarket offers. The prices are reasonable. If you can, bring your own bags – plastic bags are 10 cents each (actually, 11 cents with tax) PS – taxes in Puerto Rico are outrageous, adding up to about 11-12% on everything. But I highly recommend SuperMax, especially if you’re planning to cook a couple of meals to save money (breakfast is soooo expensive everywhere, so that’s the main things we shopped for) Open 24 hours.

  Supermarket like Trader Joe’s without any fuss, reasonable prices, opened 24/7, having pharmacy, liquor store and delivery – what else do you wish for? Besides staple items you can find gems – ceviche salad or spicy sausage, Puerto Rico Vines and beers. If you’re with your best half – sweets section will take an hour.
  The only downside – some of groceries are labeled only in Spanish, but service personal knows English reasonably well.

  repeatedly sell frozen foods that have been melted/not at a controlled temperature. bought ben and jerrys – it was completely separated ice and milk. bought amys frozen tofu scramble – it had clearly melted and gone bad; when i cooked it tasted very sour.

  One of the nicest supermarkets in the area. Clean and clutter-free areas, offering Bakery, Deli, alcoholic beverages, fresh fruit and vegetables and the usual.
  It was very uncrowded, with lots of parking area around it. A nice variety of micro Brews and local beer. All the we didn’t eat at the deli it seemed very delicious to look at! The vicinity has plenty of fast food, Banking and other amenities like Sears store.

  OMG the fruit prices are crazy high and the quality low. I went to PR to bury my father last time there was 5 years ago. The island is in bad shape. Supermercado Pueblo needs to work harder to improve their business.
