Whole Foods is infinitely better than any other big-chain supermarkets, because it sells so many difficult-to-source yums (see my photos). No need to drive miles/sacrifice sleep/use sick time to rush the farmers’ markets!

i saw this location open years ago … my how it’s changed. i slowly watched the store go from upper scale to mid grade: the attitudes from straining politeness and courtesy to now average aloofness; the bulk section removed; the bathrooms pristine to smelly with rancid graffiti that is never painted over and the 1 out of 2 faucets inoperable for months if not longer. but the juice bar is still great. i recommend you don’t buy the expensive cheese that they cut and wrap in saran wrap unless very recently packaged … it gets a foul taste from sitting out. i rarely recognize the same face, seems there is a high turn over of staff that are just waiting for something better to come along and resent you for it.

Great location downtown LA. When it’s busy not not too busy where it’s crowded. Always great selection and fresh products on a hot food is always fresh and good also has a bar and seating area that’s nice inside and out. Security is on hand and plenty of cashiers to handle any needs. Easily accessible on the bus train or vehicle.

Friendly staff and a wide selection of Asian groceries that. Aren’t available anywhere else in town. They often have rambutan and on occasion lychee. There’s a large selection of mushrooms ,both fresh and dried, fried vegan foods and meat substitutes.

I heard this market had a great meat selection, deli and fantastic teas to choose from? I drove from Kerman. To my delight the word IS true PLUS it’s HUGE. The employees were friendly, respectful and funny even when it got busy this Easter morning. The store is clean!! I mean even the glass on displays! But if I could make a suggestion!!? The check out lanes well they are NOT THICK CHIC FRIENDLY!! 🐥😏✌You may want to S P R E A D a tad. more. I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE TODAY. I’ll be back👊

Fast Food, Yes! Chinese combination plates is one of the many hot and ready foods. For lunch and dinner. Always plenty of food for the price! Good prices. And next to their deli with different kinds of salads, like fruit salads, and cold salads and deli meats. Not to mention the meat department and their fresh fruits and vegetables. And they also have a Mexican bakery inside of the store. And everything you need for all of your shopping needs.

All kinds of Asian ethnic foods, with a healthy chunk of Mexican products. Since I’m from L. A., it’s going to be a little bit sparse compared to the variety available in the San Gabriel Valley, but I’ve been shopping here for over a decade, and it’s only very occasionally that I’m unable to find a specific ingredient that I need. It’s usually that they don’t stock a particular I prefer — or grew up with.

Grocery prices are generally quite reasonable, and I have never had an unfriendly checker. On the other hand, the ladies running the deli can be a bit gruff at times. I talk with a smile and it might loosen them up once in a while. A challenge. The hot lunch and dinners are passable to good. I have yet to find any deli item that I wouldn’t order again. Deli prices are decent.

This has been my thrice weekly WF location for five+ years. I am now opting to shop elsewhere. They are always out of items – and not just “Covid supply chain” items. Pretty sure this is the last WF in the area to get stocked after all the other stores. The cashiers are pretty pale, the selection is minimum, and the hot food bar is stagnant and pretty “carnivore or nothing”. The time it takes to get a sandwich (even if you are the only customer) is so lengthy and the wait for a register is atrocious. One plus is parking is easy if you know how to maneuver it.
