Really like this grocery store chain.

Pros:
*Great variety, quality and competitively priced items
*No charge for paper bags and they are always double bagged.
*Super quick check out. They almost always will open a lane when it gets busy.
*Happy, helpful employees.
*Separate wine and liquor store attached with some unique offerings.

Cons:
*It’s in a strip mall.
*Parking lots is very crowded and lot traffic is hectic.
*Difficult to get in and out of parking lot due to heavy traffic.

Was in town visiting family and decided to visit Trader Joe’s for the first time. The staff were amazing especially Aleena! She was by far the nicest person I’ve ever had check me out at a store. She went above and beyond to make sure I was having a great experience. I left feeling great and it made my day! 5 stars all around (especially for her.)

I love this store. Their cinnamon graham crackers are such a delight. We also love their dunk’em cookies and windmill cookies. Their fruit selection is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. I just don’t have a bad thing to say! Awesome!!!

I love trader Joe’s and this location was no exception! Their flowers are so fresh and beautiful. And the cashier was amazing. She offered to give me a container filled with water to make transporting the flowers easy. I like to make my own bouquets 💐

This is the best grocery store experience I’ve ever had. About a month ago, I tried the Trader Joe’s Mango Cream Bars (pictures below). It quickly became my favorite treat ever. Since we live across the river, we don’t have much time to come to Trader Joe’s but I have wanted to come back to get more of these.
Finally, today, we were able to take the time to stop in. There were several things I was excited to try; however, the bars were all gone! Not to be dramatic, but I was SO disappointed. We went to checkout with the other items we were excited to try when the cashier, Mary Beth, asked if we found everything okay. I let her know about my excitement to get the mango bars but they were all gone.
Instead of saying “Oh, so sorry,” she informed us that there was a possibility the truck had arrived with the new products. She asked the bagger to check and it had just arrived! He went lost of his way to grab the box of these bars for me. And to top it all off, Mary Beth offered us ice to keep the frozen goods cold on our trek back home.

10/10 type of service. I hope Mary Beth and the gentleman who helped get the recognition they deserve!!!

Love love Trader Joes..good quality without alot of money. The staff is always amazing and if they have tried something you are buying they will tell you how good it is..and typically they have always been right. Their spices are fabulous I always pick up a new one when I go…cant complain about eating healthy being expensive if you go there very reasonable..enjoy!!

We love Trader Joe’s. We pop in two or three times a week for groceries or some wine. We have conversations with many staff members and consider them friends. Many staff members have worked there since Joe’s opened. After shopping for groceries we stopped to get a bottle of wine and our regular boxed wine. Staff commented that we were buying something that was not our regular order and my wife told the cashier that today was our anniversary. One minute later a manager who was stocking shelves came back with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and said “Happy Anniversary”. WOW!!! We thanked them several times and they both thanked us for being loyal customers over the years they have been opened.
We started shopping at Joe’s because of their products and low prices. The bonus is the friendly, professional staff that always make you feel special with their positive upbeat attitude. Ever time I enter Joe’s I feel like I am attending a family reunion. WE LOVE JOE’S!!! Thanks for always helping us!!!!

My absolute favorite grocery store. Nearly everything they carry is their own brand, so you can’t find it anywhere else. When I moved here from California, I was thrilled that Lexington had a Trader Joes. Reasonable pricing, especially for basics. Their prepared fresh/frozen foods are amazing. If you don’t like something they will refund you, even if you ate it. A bunch of their food is seasonal, so it’s always different depending on when you go.

Motorized cart for disabled shoppers! Great staff consistently friendly and helpful and wide variety of unique grocery options. Plus, their liquor store now has a cart for disabled customers. Always new seasonal items and great prices. Nice pet section and lovely floral department.

The first time I’ve been here in several years and came to return an Amazon item. Think I’ll go back when I have more time. Wonderful selection.

Freshly made pizzas that you can purchase by the slice or whole 18 inch pie
Tables out front so that you can purchase food and relax and eat it there

Dry aged beef section aged in house– first time I’ve seen that in a grocery store
Huge selection of all sorts of fresh seafood types. One of the largest I’ve seen in Louisville
Equally large selection of meats
Excellent produce section and well displayed
Store is very clean
Very friendly people
Amazon return section in the wine area
Plenty of parking out front with easy access
No plastic bags, just paper, similar to Trader Joe’s
CONs:
Prices are higher than other groceries although they did have a few items on sale The way I would like to see more. Of course the quality is higher as well on many of the items that they sell

There may be some discounts for Amazon prime customers although I’m not sure how that works. Will check it out

You can get all your groceries and all your diet items at the same spot, they also have a hot food bar and a salad bar it’s just the perfect place for Sunday shopping 🛒

What a pleasant find! Always heard about it; finally stopped. This was a fun new adventure. Deli and bakery dept are phenomenal. Expect to pay more, but you truly get what you pay for…quality. Great for selective shopping but may too pricey for heavy buying trips. Also impressed by cleanliness as well as this store is well staffed with friendly, helpful employees. Wish I lived closer, but look forward to a return, soonest. Please keep up the good work. BTW as instructed by Amazon, I did my first return there. Easy!

Four starts ONLY because they don’t carry my favorite meat substitute any more. However, the produce clerk was so kind to walk me into the grocery side of the store and introduce me to new products that she likes…. And gifted me with a package to try “on the house”!!
Another clerk in customer service helped me figure out the Amazon app to use in the store for the “Prime” discount. SCORE!! Clean store, friendly employees, well stocked, and better prices than I remembered!
