This is an absolute MUST for ANYONE passing through the area! There is something for everyone in this wonderful store. Aisles are Organized by flags/country/region, very easy to navigate. Customers were more then helpful to explain what certain products were, what they’re for, etc, as well as the staff. The main things I appreciate this place for are tea biscuits, halaal food options, Frozen food, drinks, and of course, candy & produce! This store is truly amazing, prices are very affordable, especially for the wide variety of products they carry, for each and every culture! From fresh produce to snacks, beauty & skincare to canned goods, there is literally something here for everyone! As well as the infamous Japanese soda with the marbles in the lid. Majority of food here doesn’t contain “bad” ingredients like most of our foods do, which is also a HUGE plus! MUST see!

This shop has a wider variety of international items then most. Produce – huge selection of fresh herbs and great fruit options. They even had cactus pears on sale.

The deli is definitely worth visiting. There is large variety of cheeses and meats. We got smoked Gouda and herb infused Mozzarella and jalapeño jerky sticks They are short staff so there is a bit of a wait.

Coffee selection is standard, but they did have a German coffee brand. They have a wider selection of teas.

Their staff are very friendly and actually bring you to the product that you are looking for and they show you similar products too that could work

It’s a little bit on the higher cost side but there are only a few markets like this. Plus the quality of the meat and produce is wonderful. It’s definitely worth a visit.

One of my go to places for my Jamaican ingredients and so many other international foods. They are owned by the same family that owns Jay’s in the City. I find I have a better customer service experience here and they have more cashier stations. Overall, I’ve never felt ill treated here, but there are items that they don’t have and only Jay’s offers. So in the end I have to visit both places. I’ve included a pic of today’s haul.

Things are at different prices from the labels. Some time ago I was very happy to shop in this store, but this is no longer. This also happened with meat by weight. It wasn’t until I got home that I saw that I had paid more. No problem, there are other international food stores.

The piece of yellow cheese (Svalya) says $ 10.49, and we have to pay more than $ 26.00…?

Wonderful supermarket. Nestled in an Italian neighborhood on The Hill in St. Louis, it offers a wide range of both traditional and ethnic offerings.

This Schnucks has the advantage of getting fresh breads, cheese, and olives that many of its neighboring stores do not have.

    Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. Staff has helped me dog watch while I ran in and shopped a couple times. I wish I could bring him in with me so i didn’t have to worry, but I’m glad I can get some assistance from time to time. I hope no one takes advantage of their generosity.

I usually love this store and choose to shop here over one that is closer to my home. However today we had an issue with a price that was on the shelf and what was rung up. The clerk first ignored my observation of the error, then couldn’t find the items on the receipt after staring at it for a good 2 minutes. She handed it to me and I pointed out the item. She then finally went over to the CS desk and got someone to go back to check prices. We were then told to go “over there”, meaning the CS desk. When the CS person got back she didn’t say a word, no apology, not anything. Processed the refund to the card and never said a word to us. No thank you for shopping at Schnucks, or sorry about the error…
My biggest pet peeve is shoddy customer service and this was a great example today.

This is not our usual store but we were in the area and stopped here to pick up a few things. This store is ridiculous! The store does not have a layout that is convenient nor does it even make sense. Products that you find together in other Schnucks locations are placed in completely different aisles. Don’t come here after 4pm because either the customers can’t figure out how to stand in the line they want (full service or self checkout) or the manager, Jessica, has absolutely nothing better to do than stand around and play line monitor to make herself feel important. She literally stood by the entrance to self checkout and was yelling at people to stand in a single file line, regardless of how you were checking out, and asked every customer which line they wanted to check out in. Then she points to a spot and tells you to stand here. If grown adults can’t figure out which line to stand in, there is no hope for humanity. It is sad that Schnucks pays someone to stand around and be completely useless! I will NEVER step foot in this location again! Pathetic! Next time I will go to Dierbergs where customers are smarter and the managers are paid to actually manage a store!

Schnucks is our preferred grocery in St Louis for it’s low prices and clean well lit stores. This is a very nice city location! Large and well stocked.

Really clean store, and really friendly clerk! When you walk in, there is a smell of spices that hits you, but after a few minutes it goes away. They had A LOT of good items here, and they were decently priced. I found a lot of things I had not seen elsewhere! There was a lot of room for customers to walk and push carts through.

Clean, well stocked, not only Asian products, but also found Marie Sharp hot sauce from Belize, fresh tamarind, and 4 kinds of feta. Definitely worth including in your grocery rotation.

Great place to get more of an Asian mix of groceries. Good selection of American and non-american vegetables and fruits. A great fish and meat market for non-traditional supermarkets and a great canned selection along with all you can imagine Asian perishable goods.

For someone like me who cannot read all the cans and bottles in Mandarin or Cantonese, it’s not as intimidating as it looks. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Plus, my husband and I found it’s super easy to just google the product then look for that image in the store.

They also have a nice and fun selection of more Asian beverages that you don’t see in American supermarkets!

The best grocery store in St. Louis. They have items you can’t even decipher, as there’s no English language words on the label. They also have what I deeply crave: tons and tons of different curry pastes. This place is priced so well, if you want common items like potatoes or onions, they’re cheaper here than anywhere else in the city.

Just come here. It’s incredible. Expand your horizons. And palate.

The shop was quite crowded on the Saturday morning I visited. I took my time and spent over an hour browsing their wide selection, though. Aisles of condiments. Bags of rice halfway up the large front window. A massive produce section. Frozen goods including a freezer of vegan items. Snacks, biscuits, tea, candy. Fresh meats. And a wall of ramen! It was a feeling comparable to getting lost in a great bookstore. I visited new worlds and left full of ideas–with spanakopita, capers, Kalamata olives, sourdough wasa, lemon biscuits, Chinese restaurant-style tea, fried tofu cubes, and more.
