Fair prices, the store brand on most items are roughly same quality of the name brand. What made me a loyal customer is the employee’s. They are always so kind&I only had 1 “issue” when my groceries were bagged (eggs bagged with canned goods, bread put underneath heavier bags) but it was this kiddos 2nd day on the job&he has since been trained properly. We gotta give these guys a round of applause👏🏼they are overworked and extremely underemployed! Especially their sandwich station&you wouldn’t know it with how Chloe&the 2 other sandwich artists slay at their job!

Market Basket needs to get with the tines. They need full staff at the cashier li es, and they need self check outs.
90% of my time in this store is spent in line with minimal staff working the front counters.
You guys need to get self check out registers. It’s 2022, every other grocery store in the world has self check outs and it’s much much more convenient going somewhere else not having to spend a half hour in line with 2 items in my hands.

Market Basket is such a an amazing food Shop. There are many items and and it is well organized.

The Pros:
1) They have many items to choose from.
2) It’s close to downtown.
3) The Washrooms were clean and kept well organized.
4)Supplied with many items and stacked well.
5) Very friendly customer service for me.

The Cons:
1) Some items are not available.
2) Some items are missing prices below the item.

All in All I like the supermarket very well. I hope they improve and take measures to keep it up to date for future generations.

I would give them 0 stars if i could, they need to NOT replace labels with different dates on them. I bought 3 packages of rotten chicken with a good dates on them. When i brought them back, it made one of the girls cry and almost got sick because how bad it was. Also the 14 year old cashiers & bagers really need to learn Respect and leave the drama at home. They also need to be trained better and double bag things, I lost $14 of Vermont Maple syrup and a $6 bottle of wine vinegar. All because a 14 year old can’t add another bag, there busy talking about what boy did what. 😑

Good prices. Awesome variety!!! but NEVER buy from their seafood department!!! Not fresh. Always an issue and horrible smelling. Run as fast as you can as far as the seafood department goes.

I will start with I love Market Basket and this is my first time writing a review, much less a bad one. But, this said, I have sporadically bought fresh fish, and, almost every time it smells really bad once home and taken out of the store wrapping. Today was defiantly the last time I will bother to buy from them. I rinsed it with cold water and lemon juice and proceeded to use it. Even after cooking it smelled wrong and tasted wrong. Through it out. Not wasting a penny again on fresh fish at a Market Basket. And I go to around 5 total due to my personal travels.
I will shop with them for my other grocery needs just not sea food.

Their cash registers are so efficient. It can get busy with people wanted to shop in this market basket but the staff make it all smooth. Now I see why many people wanted to shop there. Fresh food, good quality meat and the staff are amazing!

You don’t usually think of a grocery store as a place to have lunch, even though many of them have ready-to-eat food choices. I often stop hear when I’m in a hurry and need an alternative to burger joints or coffee shops. The food choices are great, (the sushi is better than the average restaurant), much healthier, and you can have a balanced meal for about the same price as a “meal” at a drive-through.

You should stop selling scratch tickets in the checkout line. For people to have the line stretching down the isle while they fulfill their gambling addiction at the grocery store is pretty absurd if you ask me.

Great selection of food, some of the shelves have been more bare lately, but, it’s not their fault. Really clean supermarket and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I spend alot when I come here due to prices, so I can only shop here like twice a month at this point.
